Hi, it's nice to see you here

My name is Ariana and I truly love what I do. I feel most at home when I am behind a camera. But, enough about that. If you'd like to get to know the girl behind the camera, please feel free to take a glimpse into my life.

A little more about me

Photography

I have been taking photos for as long as I can remember and I got my first camera as a Christmas gift when I was twelve or thirteen. I don't think my parents ever expected me to become as obsessed as I did.

I am self taught for the most part, besides one semester of photography class in high school. It has been quite the journey and I wouldn't change a thing. I am so eternally grateful for my photographer friends & mentors who have helped guide me along the way.

Horses

My horse obsession began at a young age, but it never seemed to end. I grew up having six mini horses on my family's farm and started riding shortly thereafter.

After riding western for a few years, I decided to move into the hunter/jumper world. I learned so much discipline and self control through this sport that I couldn't imagine my life another way.

Although I do not have my own horse anymore, I do still find myself in the saddle quite often.

Travel

One of my favorite things to do is explore new places and make new memories. Growing up, my family traveled a lot and we apparently had a difficult time staying in one place for too long. I have hiked glaciers in Iceland, watched the sunrise on the beach in France, and kayaked in a lake at the bottom of a volcano in Costa Rica. I hope to be able to continue exploring the world throughout my lifetime. Our planet is so stunning and I want to experience everything she has to offer.

Four Legged Friends

Some could call me an animal collector, but I could not imagine a life without my fur babies. My home is far from quiet, and I much prefer it that way. My free time is mostly spent snuggling up on the couch with my cats, playing outside with my dog, or hopping on my friend's ponies.
